Position: Paid Social Specialist
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5/week (flexitime)
Location: Hybrid, including 2 days a week in our office in Leeds

Overview
We're looking for a Paid Social Specialist to join the Good n' Proper team. You'll work across B2C and B2B brands across a range of paid social channels, with a particular focus on Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
Here's what your day-to-day will look like (when you're at work anyway, there's no expectation for your Saturday to look like this):
- Use Meta Business Manager to build, manage and optimise advertising campaigns.
- Ensure live campaigns are always performing to the best they can be and, if they’re not, make recommendations and tweak when necessary.
- Manage different-sized advertising budgets and adapt strategies based on spend and objectives.
- Use in-depth research, competitor analysis, and target audience profiling to inform campaign planning/optimisation.
- Write engaging advertising copy (following tone of voice guidelines) that people actually want to read (it’s harder than it sounds) and that’ll make people take action - whether it's filling out a form, visiting a website, or engaging with a post.
- Keep up-to-date with competitor activity (it’s good to get a bit nosy!) and benchmark against them.
- Analyse paid campaign performance and report your findings in useful, easy-to-digest ways. Numbers are good, but context is better.
- Brief designers on your own creative ideas for campaign assets and regularly A/B test to make sure you’re getting the best results possible.
- Work closely with the Content team to share knowledge on paid social media advertising and boosting social posts.
- Understand and implement tracking to ensure results are as accurate as possible
- Manage client expectations and deliver projects to a set deadline.
About You

If you have the below, we’d love to hear from you:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paid media role.
- Previous experience in creating paid social campaigns, with Meta campaigns being a must-have requirement
- The ability to be analytical and data-driven with your recommendations and communicate this in a simplified way (basically, you can bin the jargon off just like that!).
- A creative eye to understand what a consumer wants to interact with and why
- A natural knack for keeping on top of platform developments and trends.
