Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paid Media Manager role based in Manchester. The Paid Media Manager will plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across channels such as search, social, display, and emerging platforms to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing media strategies, building media plans and budgets, setting up and managing campaigns, monitoring performance, and providing clear reporting on key metrics. The role involves collaborating closely with brand, creative, e-commerce, and analytics teams to align media activity with broader brand and commercial objectives. The Paid Media Manager will also test new channels, formats, and audiences, manage relationships with external partners where relevant, and ensure all activity reflects best practices, brand guidelines, and data privacy requirements.

Qualifications

Strong media planning and media strategy skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and channel mix optimisation.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Experience working with new media channels and formats, including social platforms, programmatic, or emerging digital environments.
Understanding of public relations and how paid media can complement earned and owned media efforts.
Proficiency in paid media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Spark Ads, Reddit), analytics tools, and A/B testing.
Proven experience managing performance-focused campaigns for consumer brands, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-informed approach to decision-making and optimisation.
Ability to work on-site in Manchester, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
