Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Paid Media Manager to take ownership of our paid digital marketing activity across multiple websites and brands. This is a pivotal role within the marketing function, requiring someone who can hit the ground running, manage significant campaign activity, and contribute meaningfully to the wider commercial strategy.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of paid media — from Google Ads PPC to paid social, and affiliate programme management — while working collaboratively with our in-house marketing and commercial teams to drive measurable ROI and business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesPaid Search (PPC)
- Plan, execute, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple websites and product categories
- Manage budgets effectively, delivering campaigns within agreed spend and against defined KPIs including ROAS, CPA, and revenue targets
- Develop and present budget proposals and media plans aligned to business objectives
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities arising from MDF (Market Development Funds) to boost campaign activity where available
- Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve campaign efficiency and performance
Paid Social Media
- Manage and optimise paid social campaigns across relevant platforms suited to our B2C and B2B audiences
- Develop audience strategies, creative briefs, and targeting approaches to maximise campaign performance
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-led decisions to continuously improve results
Affiliate Programme Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with our affiliate agency partner
- Oversee affiliate performance, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and commercial targets
- Identify opportunities to grow and optimise the affiliate channel in conjunction with the agency
Analytics, Reporting & Strategy
- Utilise Google Analytics, CRM, and attribution platforms to track performance and report on key metrics
- Provide clear, regular reporting to senior management with insights and recommendations
- Understand and communicate how paid channels interact with organic, direct, and affiliate channels within the overall customer journey and conversion funnel
- Collaborate closely with the wider marketing and commercial teams to align paid media strategy with business goals
Person SpecificationEssential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in paid media, with a strong proven track record in Google Ads (PPC)
- Demonstrable experience managing campaigns across multiple websites or brands simultaneously
- Strong understanding of the full digital sales channel mix — paid, organic, direct, and affiliate — and how these channels interact to drive conversions
- Experience managing and reporting on advertising budgets, with the ability to develop budget proposals and KPI frameworks
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing attribution platforms
- Comfortable working with MDF funding and managing campaign boosts accordingly
- Highly analytical with strong commercial awareness and a focus on ROI
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in digital marketing, including AI-powered solutions
- This role is an office at our South Woodford location

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
