Are you actually shaping your clients media plans — or just delivering someone else’s decisions?
Do you find yourself spending too much time executing plans shaped by constraints, habits, or structures that limit how much influence you really have?
Are you a curious thinker, with a drive to deliver outstanding solutions and outcomes for your clients?
Maybe you’re curious about AI, marketing theory, behavioural science, and where paid media is actually heading — but don’t always have the time and space to explore it properly.
You’re eager to put your stamp on something, rather than simply deliver within someone else’s framework.
If that sounds familiar, this role is for you.
About Adfabric
Adfabric is a multi-award-winning, future-focused paid media agency based in London. We’re building the agency of tomorrow — combining exceptional talent, emerging technology, and progressive thinking to deliver seismic business impact for ambitious brands.
Our clients span Banking, Telecoms, FMCG, Entertainment and beyond. We pride ourselves on challenging convention, backed by decades of world class agency experience and learnings, rather than defaulting to continue with “how it’s always been done”.
We’re 100% founder-owned, tight knit, high-calibre team, driven to deliver a high value service to our clients with exceptional outcomes. That means:
A senior, highly knowledgeable team to collaborate with
No trading-led strategy
No unnecessary layers
No distance between thinking and doing
Close, highly productive relationships with clients
Time and space for every employee to learn & grow their craft
Everyone here contributes to strategy, ideas, testing and innovation. If something’s worth trying, we try it.
The Role
We’re looking for a Paid Media Manager who is ready for a role that allows a greater level of autonomy, real influence, and real responsibility.
This role is ideal for someone who has built a strong foundation – both in terms of theoretical learning and practical hands on planning & buying experience. You’ll currently be excelling as senior planner or media manager in your current agency but are now looking for more ownership, strategic input and the chance to help shape how paid media is delivered.
You’ll work directly with the Founder, helping define how paid media strategy is planned, activated, measured and evolved across channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
Owning paid media strategy end-to-end — from brief interpretation to execution and performance review
Planning and activating cross-channel media, primarily Paid Social, Paid Search and Display, with exposure to TV, Audio and OOH
Acting as a day-to-day strategic partner for clients, leading conversations and recommendations
Working closely with the Founder to challenge assumptions and evolve our paid media product
Designing and delivering test-and-learn roadmaps across channels and clients
Experimenting with AI, automation and new tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency
Analysing performance deeply and turning data into clear, actionable insight
Managing budgets, pacing and performance against commercial KPIs
Supporting new business pitches and helping shape agency growth
Skills & Experience
We’re less interested in where you’ve worked and more interested in how you think, and what you can do — but for completeness, most successful candidates will have:
A strong foundation in media planning and buying, gained through both theoretical learning & training via the likes of the IPA and hands-on experience planning & activating paid media campaigns across multiple clients.
Experience managing cross-channel paid media, primarily Paid Social, Paid Search and Display, with exposure to or keenness to expand your remit to AV channels such as TV, Audio and OOH (hands-on or planning/activation experience)
Confidence owning media strategy end-to-end, not just execution
Solid understanding of measurement and effectiveness, including GA4, platform reporting, and turning data into insight
Experience working with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic/display environments
Comfort managing budgets, pacing and performance against commercial targets
Strong client communication skills, able to explain complex performance clearly and confidently
A genuine interest in marketing theory, media effectiveness, research and behavioural insight
Active curiosity around AI, automation and emerging tools, with a mindset focused on reducing admin and increasing thinking time
Self-starter mentality — comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability in a small, fast-moving team
Experience across every channel isn’t required — curiosity, intelligence and ambition are.
What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months
You’re confidently leading paid media strategy across multiple clients and channels
Clients trust you as a strategic partner, not just an operator
You’ve introduced new thinking, tests or tools that have materially improved performance
You’re actively shaping how Adfabric plans and delivers paid media
You feel challenged, stretched — and clearly progressing in your career
Why This Role Is Different
Direct access to the Founder and genuine strategic influence
Freedom to test, learn and challenge convention
Fast career progression driven by impact, not hierarchy
A chance to help define what a modern paid media agency should look like
Reporting Line
This role reports directly to the Founder.
