The Paid Media Manager will strategically drive media strategies in collaboration with our agency & oversee the daily running of media spend to deliver quality traffic to our websites & footfall into stores. The paid media manager will be accountable for the measurement of media & for the marketing media inputs to each business P&L.

The role is responsible for all paid media channels; including digital, SEO & broadcast media channels.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning & articulation of the Media strategy to demonstrate how our Marketing spend will be invested & what that will return.
Responsible for the forecasting of media spend & it’s impact on business metrics.
Accountable for monitoring & manging the ROI achieved by paid media.
Deliver quality traffic to the website, across performance media, including SEO & footfall into our stores.
Plan & deliver web sessions to site with external context & channel rationale.
Responsible for test & learn approach to media, including creative testing.
Accountable for all search traffic & monitoring external factors.
Responsible for media costs withing the each of our business P&Ls.
Accountable for keeping up to date on developments within media & search industries.
Key decisions will include defining which media & costs will be used for each campaign.
Key relationships will be with the media agency & internal campaign management team, working closely with other channel owners.

The Ideal Candidate

Should have 5 years or more in a similar role; with a strong media background.
Ideally (but not essential) has worked both client-side & within an agency
Good understanding of retail (& some exposure to pharmacy), ideally within an Omnichannel business.
Should be a subject matter expert with a passion for media & eCommerce. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key business stakeholders.
