Scaling Edge is an AI-first business development agency based in London, working with coaches, consultants, finance brands, property firms, and professional service businesses. We build paid acquisition systems, AI lead generation infrastructure, and automation workflows that drive measurable revenue for our clients. We've generated over £3M in client sales through our paid and organic systems, and we're scaling fast.
We're looking for a senior media buyer who can take ownership of client ad accounts, launch and optimise campaigns end-to-end, and operate as a client-facing strategist.
The Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing position. You'll own the day-to-day execution of paid media for a portfolio of clients: building campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager, uploading creatives, customising prebuilt funnels and workflows in GoHighLevel, writing copy, briefing creative, optimising performance, and reporting directly to clients.
You will NOT be building funnels or automations from scratch. Our workflows, funnel templates, and automations are already built; your job is to plug clients in, tweak, customise, and optimise.
We use AI heavily across our workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, image and video generation tools), so you need to be fluent in leveraging AI to move faster without sacrificing output quality.
What You'll Be Doing
Media Buying & Account Management
- Build campaigns from scratch inside Meta Ads Manager (campaign structure, ad sets, audiences, placements)
- Upload ad creatives, write and test copy variations, manage budgets
- Run structured 3 to 5 day testing protocols and scale winners
- Daily account monitoring, audience research, and optimisation decisions
- Focus on CPL, CAC, and ROAS across multiple client verticals (finance, property, coaching, professional services)
Funnel & Workflow Customisation (Prebuilt in GoHighLevel)
- Customise and tweak our prebuilt call funnels, webinar funnels, landing pages, and email/SMS/WhatsApp sequences inside GHL
- Adjust copy, branding, and offers per client
- Make sure pixels, tracking, and CRM integrations are firing correctly
Ad Copy & Creative Direction
- Write direct-response ad copy across hooks, body, and CTAs
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate copywriting, ideation, and angle testing
- Write video ad scripts (UGC, talking head, VSL, story-led)
- Brief image ad designers with clear visual direction and assess output against best practice
- Review and critique video ads against retention, hook strength, pacing, and conversion criteria
Client Communication & Reporting
- Run client calls (kickoffs, weekly check-ins, performance reviews)
- Send out clear, well-written weekly performance reports
- Stay active and responsive on WhatsApp and Slack throughout the working day
- Translate ad data into clear business language for non-technical founders
- Manage expectations, set realistic KPIs, and own the relationship
What You Need to Have
- 3+ years managing Meta Ads accounts with meaningful budgets
- GoHighLevel experience is mandatory, not negotiable
- Perfect written and spoken English, you'll be client-facing daily
- Strong copywriting chops, you can write a hook, a VSL, and a follow-up sequence without hand-holding
- Comfortable using AI tools daily for copy, ideation, and creative briefs
- Strong creative eye, you can look at an image ad or video ad and know what's wrong with it
- Experience scripting video ads (UGC, talking head, story-driven)
- Confident on client calls, you can present numbers, push back when needed, and hold the room
- Active and responsive communicator on Slack and WhatsApp during working hours
- Self-managed, organised, and proactive (we don't micromanage)
Nice to Have
- Experience in finance, property, or high-ticket coaching verticals
- LinkedIn Ads or Google Ads experience
- ClickUp or Notion-based agency workflow experience
