We are an entertainment group working across music, comedy, media and publishing.

We are hiring our first in-house paid social person. Right now that work sits with a mix of freelancers and founders doing it between everything else, and it has gone as far as it can like that. We want someone who owns it.

This is a hands-on media buying role, not a content or community management role. You will be in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager every day, running live campaigns against real budgets, and you will be judged on what those campaigns return.

What you will actually do

Plan, build and optimise paid campaigns across Meta and TikTok, from setup through to reporting
Run structured creative testing. Hooks, formats, thumbnails, audio, copy. Find what works, kill what doesn't, and tell us why
Manage Business Manager properly. Pixels, events, ad accounts, page and asset permissions, catalogue and domain setup
Work with our content people to brief the assets you need rather than making do with what exists
Run test budgets on early-stage projects across the group, where the job is to find the signal fast and cheaply
Report weekly in plain English. What we spent, what it did, what happens next
Keep on top of platform changes and tell the rest of us what they mean

What we need from you

One to three years running paid social in-house or agency side, with proven hands-on Meta and TikTok experience
Real fluency in Meta Business Suite and Business Manager. Not just boosting posts
Comfortable with numbers. CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, and able to say what they mean rather than just report them
Strong instincts for creative. You should be able to look at three ads and know which one will work before you spend a penny on it
Organised enough to run several accounts and several projects at once without losing track
Happy in a small team where you make the call and own the outcome

Nice to have, not essential

Experience marketing music, artists, live events or entertainment
Google Ads, YouTube or Snap
Some ability to edit or assemble simple video variants yourself
Experience with TikTok Spark Ads and creator whitelisting
