Proximity Recruitment are searching for a hands-on PPC Specialist (£35,000 – £40,000 + Benefits) to join an award-winning, 5-star rated Google Partner agency in Hertfordshire that’s scaling rapidly through both organic growth & acquisition.

The newly-created PPC Specialist role represents the company’s first UK PPC hire as they continue to expand their Paid Search capability.

Joining a collaborative & high-performing digital team, the PPC Specialist will manage a portfolio of approximately 20 clients across Google Ads campaigns, predominantly focused on Search, PMax & Google Shopping.

Responsibilities include:

· Manage a portfolio of circa 20 PPC clients

· Build & optimise Google Ads campaigns from scratch

· Work across Search, Performance Max & Google Shopping campaigns

· Manage smaller-budget campaigns (£20–£50/day spend)

· Conduct client update calls & performance discussions

· Help manage client expectations during optimisation periods

· Monitor performance & continuously improve ROI

· Work independently within a highly supportive team environment

You’ll work closely with owner-led businesses across a range of sectors including trades, services & eCommerce, helping clients generate measurable ROI whilst building long-term relationships based on trust & transparency.

The successful candidate will be required to be in the office 2 days a week, with the other 3 working from home. Culturally the successful individual will bring positive energy, be happy supporting others & comfortable regularly dealing with clients to optimise their accounts.
