The RoleAs a Paid Media Manager, you’ll lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid campaigns across platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn and Google Ads. You’ll be responsible for identifying trends, reporting issues, and providing data-driven insights to improve client results.
You’ll also work closely with Client Success Managers and sales to develop cohesive marketing strategies tailored to client objectives. Acting as the lead digital marketer for your accounts, you’ll ensure all activity aligns with a single, unified strategy. While your primary focus will be on paid media and analytics, you’ll also contribute to organic social, email, and content strategies to ensure a cohesive multi-channel approach.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Collaboration:- Develop and execute marketing strategies that integrate multiple channels, including paid media, organic social, and email marketing, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Collaborate with Client Success Managers to translate client business goals into actionable marketing plans.
- Support the sales team and client success managers with forecasting, strategy input, and participation in pitches and presentations.
- Ensure all client activity is managed under a single strategic direction to maximise impact across channels.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to inform marketing strategies and adjust approaches as needed.
Paid Media Campaign Management:- Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and ad creative briefing to maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Identify optimisation opportunities, including A/B testing of ad copy, landing pages, and audiences.
- Create detailed media and budget plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and budgets.
- Stay up-to-date with platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes.
Data and Analytics:- Analyse and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve ROI.
- Monitor active campaigns regularly, ensuring they meet defined KPIs and identifying early signs of issues.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Agency Analytics to track conversions and optimise data accuracy.
Growth and Development:- Proactively identify areas for client account growth and collaborate with Client Success Managers to implement recommendations.
- Support the growth of Hillsgreen’s paid media capabilities by sharing industry trends and upskilling team members.
- Brief creative teams on ad asset needs and provide input on how to optimise visuals and messaging for performance.
- Support the development of secondary skills in organic social or email marketing to maintain a multi-channel approach.
What You’ll Bring- Proven experience managing paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube.
- Proven strategic expertise and knowledge specifically in digital marketing disciplines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
- Experience in creating and managing multi-channel strategies.
- A proactive, audience-first mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on campaign management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multi-channel campaigns effectively.
- Experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous but not essential.
