PPC Manager | Up to £50,000 | Hybrid (3 days in office)

Want to see the creative you optimise actually come to life?

Our client is a boutique, independent creative and media agency that combines creative and media to get real results for its clients. Most agencies either run media with assets handed to them, or make content and never see how it performs. This team does both. They write the creative and media strategies for many of their clients, so their paid specialists help shape the work they run.

The agency is growing quickly and has just won additional business from some major accounts. They’re now looking for a PPC Manager to take ownership of their paid search output.

The Role

This role is roughly 50/50 client-facing and hands-on in the platforms. It suits someone who enjoys both building and optimising campaigns and leading the client conversation, not someone who wants to stay behind the spreadsheets.

You’ll work across a varied roster of consumer brands in sectors including beauty, automotive, entertainment and hospitality. Campaign objectives cover the full funnel, from brand awareness and recall through to lead generation, e-commerce and sales.

What you’ll be doing:

Planning, building, managing and optimising paid search and video campaigns across Google Ads and YouTube
Owning accounts day to day, acting as the main point of contact for clients, and confidently presenting results, insights and recommendations
Running both upper-funnel brand campaigns and performance-driven activity (lead gen, e-com, sales)
Working closely with the in-house creative team, using performance data to shape the assets you run
Responding to client briefs with strategic, well-reasoned media plans
Reporting on performance and turning data into clear, actionable next steps
Contributing ideas and taking initiative in a small, close-knit team where your input makes a visible difference

What you’ll bring:

At least 3 years’ hands-on paid search experience, ideally within an agency
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and YouTube
Experience across both brand awareness and performance campaigns
Confident client-facing and communication skills, with the presence to lead conversations and build relationships
An autonomous, self-starting approach: comfortable juggling multiple clients across different industries
Energy and personality: this is a team of big characters who work closely together every day
Paid social experience is a bonus. If you’ve worked across both channels, there’s scope to do so here

What’s on offer:

Salary up to £50,000, with flexibility for exceptional experience
Hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office
Real progression: the agency promotes from within and has a strong track record of moving people up quickly
Potential for line management as the team grows
The chance to influence creative as well as media and see your impact on results
A varied, exciting client roster with no “one client, one process” here

Interview Process

Initial conversation
Interview with the Head of Paid and senior leadership
Practical task responding to a client brief
Final interview with the agency’s founders (usually in person)

The agency is hiring now, so apply soon to avoid missing out. For a confidential chat, email me at joe.georgiou@majorplayers.co.uk, message me directly, or apply below.
