About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded and proactive Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of our Google Ads and Meta advertising campaigns.

Furniture Outlet is a growing furniture retailer with five stores across Essex and London, a substantial online presence and ambitious expansion plans. We are looking for someone who can independently manage our advertising accounts, maximise return on advertising spend and continuously identify opportunities to increase online sales and drive customers into our stores.

You will work closely with our existing marketing and content teams, taking a hands-on approach to developing, testing and improving advertising campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, genuine initiative and a proven track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Management (Core Focus): Manage Google Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, including campaign setup, bidding strategies, budget allocation and ongoing optimisation.
Meta Ads Management (Core Focus): Take ownership of Facebook and Instagram advertising, including audience targeting, retargeting, creative testing and campaign optimisation.
Performance & Budget Optimisation: Monitor advertising results, identify wasted expenditure and proactively improve conversions, acquisition costs and return on advertising spend (ROAS).
Advertising Creative Strategy: Collaborate with our existing content team to develop and test effective advertising imagery, videos, messaging and promotional campaigns.
Google Merchant Centre: Manage Google Shopping product feeds, resolve disapprovals and ensure accurate product information across advertising campaigns.
Analytics & Conversion Tracking: Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager and advertising platforms to monitor conversions, troubleshoot tracking and identify improvements.
Website Conversion Optimisation: Analyse customer behaviour and recommend improvements to landing pages, product pages and the purchasing journey.
Reporting & Initiative: Provide clear performance reports and proactively identify new advertising opportunities, strategies and improvements.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads, preferably within retail or e-commerce.
Google & Meta Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Meta Ads Manager, with proven experience independently managing campaigns and budgets.
Analytics: Confident using GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Merchant Centre to analyse results, manage tracking and optimise campaign performance.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of ROAS, cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion rates and advertising profitability.
Mindset: Proactive, analytical and results-driven, with genuine initiative and the ability to independently identify opportunities and implement improvements.
Communication: Able to clearly explain performance, make recommendations and collaborate effectively with our marketing and management teams.
